A patient’s condition, health and distance permitting, patients can also be rehabilitated on a local out-patient basis. Patients are treated at the Schwertbad’s out-patient rehabilitation centre during the day, and go home in the evenings. This system enables the patient to remain in his or her familiar surroundings. Out-patient rehabilitation takes place in our out-patient rehabilitation centre, which was built in 2002. The centre is run by our senior orthopaedic specialist, and patients are under the care of our specialist for physical and rehabilitative medicine. Internal symptoms are treated by specialist doctors.
